The Portobello Film Festival celebrated its 16th year in 2011, over which time it has established itself as one of London’s premier film events and one of the biggest independent film festivals in Europe.
Film fans can enjoy work from up and coming talent alongside established directors, in addition to unique, special events, and this year they plan on screening more than 700 shorts and features.
As always screenings and events are free, taking place at bars, parks, studios, galleries and cinemas in Notting Hill and Portobello.
The festival includes a selection of unique events in addition to the screening of family friendly flicks, European films and shorts, as well as animation films and documentaries..
