Large traditional pub half way down the Road.  It has retained its original Victorian features, which can be seen throughout the pub.   The walls are adorned with contemporary period prints and various curios of the bygone era.  It has a large, comfortable bar, serving a selection of Wells and Young's beers alongside some decent continental choices.
Those who wish to sample the interesting food, there is an ample dining area.  The pub has regular Poker Mondays and Pub Quiz on Thursdays.
