There are nine Pubs and Bars in the Road. At the very beginning is most probably the oldest pub in the area, The Sun In Splendour.
Down the Road are the traditional Pubs, like the Portobello Gold, The Ground Foor.   There are also the traditional English Pubs, many still with their original Victorian interior, like the Earl of Lonsdale, The Duke of Wellington, The Shannons.   There is also a trendy cocktail bar, The Portobello Star.
Many of the pubs serve delicious food throughout the day. Some have live music during the week as well as the weekend.
